This Saturday, October 11, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the city of Tijuana will welcome wine lovers from both sides of the border for the 4th edition of the Vino Sin Fronteras Festival, organized by the Provino Baja California Committee. The event will bring together 40 wineries from the valleys of Baja California, offering tastings and sales of over 80 wine labels, including white, rosé, red, and sparkling varieties.
“The main goal of the festival is to continue promoting wine culture to audiences on both sides of the border, while serving as a key platform for wine tourism among visitors from Southern California, national travelers, wine enthusiasts, media outlets, and business organizations from the San Diego–Tijuana metropolitan region,” said Wenceslao Martínez, President of Provino.
Thanks to a partnership with CANIRAC Tijuana (National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry), the festival will feature culinary offerings from 30 restaurants based in Tijuana, Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe, Rosarito, and Tecate. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of cold and hot dishes, savory bites, and sweet creations designed to pair beautifully with Baja wines.
Live music by local talent will complement the experience, creating a festive and relaxed atmosphere ideal for cross-border connection. In keeping with the festival’s spirit of building bridges through wine culture, this year’s edition welcomes Paso Robles, California as the Guest Wine Region. Participating wineries include Ancient Peaks Winery, Bodega de Edgar, Field Recordings, Hope Family Wines, Truss, and Vina Robles, made possible through collaboration with the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.
Beyond its cultural and culinary appeal, Vino Sin Fronteras also has a social impact. A portion of the proceeds will go toward renovating the sports facility in Ejido El Porvenir, located in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe. The initiative aims to promote recreation and healthy habits among local children and youth by improving public spaces and encouraging community development.
The event is for adults only. Tickets are priced at $1,500 MXN per person and include a commemorative wine glass, access to the musical program, and unlimited tastings of wine and food while supplies last. Guests are encouraged to arrive on time to enjoy the full enogastronomic experience.
By attending, you’ll also be supporting the sports community in Valle de Guadalupe. Join the celebration and raise your glass sin fronteras!
